Known Contacts Always Get Through
Anyone already in your Gmail contacts list bypasses the payment system entirely. Their emails go straight to your inbox as normal. We automatically sync with your contacts, so there's nothing extra to manage.
Senders Get a Payment Request
Unknown senders receive an automatic reply explaining that you use Serious Email to manage your inbox. They can make a small one-time payment ($0.50) to have their email delivered to your inbox immediately.
Paid Emails Return to Your Inbox
Once payment is made, their original email is automatically moved back to your inbox and marked as unread. The sender is whitelisted, so all their future emails will go directly to your inbox without any payment required.
People You Email Are Automatically Whitelisted
When you send an email to someone, they're automatically added to your whitelist. This means their replies and future emails will go straight to your inbox. No payment required - because you initiated the conversation.
Your emails are always safe
No emails are ever deleted or lost. Everything is stored safely in your Gmail account - just organized better. You can always access the PAYMENT REQUIRED folder directly in Gmail if needed.
